How do I "do my best"? or How can you do your best?

There are three things which make me give my best. See if these can help, they must I guess, let’s have a look.
Here we go.

  1. I learned this thing of making a to-do task from Hindi movie Dasvidaniya long ago during my middle school days, I found it very pompous and started making a to-do list for every day. This habit of mine allows me to keep track of my time, as time is the most vital and crucial resource, therefore, keeping track of it and using it to the optimum certainly allows me to give my best through the day. In addition to this, I also started making a timetable, now this may sound like a cliche but believe me unless you keep a track of your time and work under your timetable under a systematic planning the chances of giving your best becomes low. Unless you utilize time(which I believe is the most crucial resource as I’ve said it earlier) you won’t be able to work up to your potential and won’t be able to work efficiently let alone giving your best.
  2. When it comes to India, my country I’m little emotional about it and love it like most of the Indians. No doubt India has a long way to go, we need to better ourselves in lots of sectors, but that won’t be possible unless we Indians change our attitude. I’d like to see a lot of changes in the attitude of Indians, as minuscule as wearing a helmet, not littering here and there and other things like that. Since I’m not at the authority to bring initiatives, so I try out things on my personal level. I try to be the change what I’d like to see in Indians. This thought alone helps me to give my best to be a better citizen and a citizen worth fighting for, as our security personnel are on a constant exchange of fire on borders and are busy handling insurgency in few parts of our country.
  3. I was never studious during my school days, the reason being my poor aptitude as I couldn’t see the purpose of studying and also I don’t use to enjoy it as simple as this. Since my college day, thanks to few of my seniors that I started having a propensity towards learning and studying as I realised that more I’ll know and understand the better I’ll be able to serve my nation, this thought alone pushed me to explore and I found that it is fun to read, learn, explore. All of a sudden my hobbies from computer games, useless social media surfing changed to reading non-fiction and autobiographies of some great persons.
These were little things which have helped me doing things better and doing them with best of my ability, certainly, I've failed on a lot of occasions but it has brought me in line every time I felt apart. Hope this will help you too.

Thanks.
Have a good day.
